Bombardier Celebrates Smart Parts Milestone With Smart Roadster Giveaway
Geneva, Switzerland, May 2, 2006 – Bombardier today kicked off the EBACE 2006 exhibition with a special preview of a stylish Smart Roadster*. The sporty car is on hand at the Bombardier booth to mark the 20th anniversary of Bombardier’s popular Smart Parts program. Dave Orcutt, vice-president, customer support, Bombardier Business Aircraft, will hand over the keys to a lucky winner this Thursday at 17:00. Bombardier business aircraft operators and owners attending EBACE are eligible to enter the draw.
In May 1986, Bombardier Aerospace broke new ground when it introduced the Smart Parts cost-per-flight-hour budget protection program, the first in its industry-leading Smart Services portfolio designed to enhance Bombardier aircraft ownership by reducing the uncertainties from managing aircraft maintenance costs. Today, over 750 Bombardier business jets are covered under the company’s various Smart Services plans.
The Smart Services portfolio, which also includes Smart Parts Plus, Smart Parts Engine Coverage and Smart Training, continues to set the standard for cost-effective aircraft maintenance coverage. Effective June 1, 2006, customers will benefit from Smart Maintenance Plus, a new optional cost-per-flight-hour program providing comprehensive maintenance and expanded parts coverage for newly delivered aircraft.
