It's the 599cc engine.
I know nothing of these cars but just fancied one
Is this the 450 model ? I have no manuals or operator instructions for it, is there a particular book or manual I should be acquiring ?

Yes, that is a 450 model. Custom paint job on that one I should think, Smart didn't do a official pink version until 2005/6.

Thanks for being able to determine the model type - this shall help a lot in times of crisis ....... hopefully wont need this though
Secondly - you are the man, those manuals are exactly what I need to get me started to check and monitor all areas for service and maintenance.
