  • What colour combo for a Roadster?

Just wondering what colour people prefer the Roadster in, or more to the point for those who have one/ordered one what colour have you gone for?

I'm expecting a Blue/Silver RHD any day now but have seen quite a few pictures of blk/blk (they look fantastic), haven't seen much evidence of glance grey though?

The joys of ordering a car so new you can't see them in the flesh before putting pen to paper!

      If you go to

      http://smart.com/-snm-0135155096-106.../de/smart/home

and click on Smart Konfigurator in the left column you can configure a smart in German. Even my lack of language skills wasnt a prob and you can look at all the colour combos.

Personally ive gone with black/black and should be arriving the 1st Sept...

Champagne and silver is the only colour for me.

Btw notice that the standard colours of black red and yellow are the same colours that are on the german flag.

My 1st preference would be Silver/Silver
                  then Black/Black
                  then Blue/Silver
                  Then Black/Silver
I'm not partial to the yellows or reds
I'm not sure about the Champagne combo

Sioux (who has just become an Aviator..... Yipppeee)

For fun: It's red and silver for me - It just the best combination for it to look like a toy car and get the most smiles!!

                    For beauty: Champagne Remix. Amazing.

Statiscally, Champagne Remix/Silver is the most popular choice so far (example: went into dealer the other day and 6 cars awaiting delivery - all silver champagne - how boring!), least popular by a huge margine is silver with shine yellow, but I saw one the other day in Paris and it looked really good.Blue and silver is the next most popular followed by black/black then black/yellow for Roadsters but there are apparently very few RC in black/yellow. You just cannot have orange seats in a yellow car though - too much! Does anyone actually like glance grey? Its just so, well dull and you'd never know it was mettalic!

I think the more muted ie less smartlike colours are definately influenced by the German car market. When I was out in Germany most of the cars they drove were a very conservative range of greys/silver or black or white, I put my hand up here I brought a black metallic car myself, v nice when clean but do they quickly attract the dirt!
