  • Automatic choke ??

Any way to turn off the automatic choke??, The Crossblade revs up every morning about a half a minute . The thing is that the lowest temperature on the island over here is about 20°C so i do not need it. ,my old 1998 Smart fortwo never did this, always turned a 1000rpm cold and hot.

    thanks, marcel.

It could be the IAT sensor could do with a clean.
1000rpm seems a bit high? Both our City Coupes tick-over at about 850rpm.

No it's not possible. It's not strictly a 'choke' either, it is more about getting the catalytic converter up to operating temp quickly.

      Cheers!

O.k thanks for the info, that means i just have to live with it. I don,t think its very good for a cold engine to rev up so much after a cold start. .
