Evening, I have a 1.5 Cdi forfour and the fuel gauge has started to flash I put a full tank in last night and this afternoon (having driven about 20 miles) has started to flash all the bars on then all the bars off. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

not heard that one......the cars are getting to an age where the fuel pumps are starting to play up a little but normally just reading wrong.
maybe its indicating a failure??

mine has been doing that for a long time and mercedes have never had it fault on them but they have had a signal plausibility code, they did the relevant checks and no fault found.

It happened with my Chevy before and I changed it with the fass fuel system like this one. So far, I have no problem with my Smart's fuel system.Comment
