The dodgy software came with it. When I get my 2004 petrol 450 in the workshop i'll give it a look.
If you want the Wurth software that I received, let me know (remind me of your address) and I'll send you the disc.
I paid £60ish for mine from the UK and it turned up next day with the 2 pieces of software and keygen creators.

The 2 things that surprised me was the construction of the multiplexer and the addition of the LED in the OBD plug, nice little touch I thought.

Having had the quickest of plays with it, I can't get either piece of software to do anything except show and delete error codes.

Hi .. so the Delphi DS150E can't do the clutch adjustments or program keys ? I've read conflicting reports on a few sites about it now ... I was hoping someone who had one AND knew how to use it could answer :-)

Delphi can program keys, do clutch adjustment and gear change adaptation etc on 450 Smarts from 2003 and on Roadsters. I have not yet tried programming keys but have used it to adjust clutch and learn gear changes. It is possible it can do same on a pre 2003 petrol 450 but this I have not yet tried.

You're doing it all wrong it's the car you program, not the key , but you knew that already

I read that on Evilution but did not want to sound like I was lecturing by explaining what actually is done.

                I was teasing you Tolsen

Why do you not want to try a key re-synch then? In case it loses a good one?

I am hoping someone more daring than me would have a go at it first. If you wish to test it out 10:45PM, I can post the kit down to you. Perhaps best testing on a Smart where the keys are already out of sync.

Or near someone who *can re-synch them on the merc kit if it fails.

I'll pass thanks lol, my 451 is fine and I'm in my C453 in five/six weeks or so

On what model Smart is that? There should also be live data and adjustments.

Here is are a few pages from a document that lists what Delphi can do on Smart cars. You may note that document does not specify ADJ (adjustment) on Roadster engines. This is still possible, just read the Roadster as a Smart 450 of same age.

Key programming in Wurth WOW using Dephi DS150E multiplexer. Key programming in Delphi is same although the layout of the screen is different.

Can only be done on Smart 450 with SAM unit and Roadsters.
