  • Cheap Sachs 600cc clutches on ebay

Might be useful to others, not sure if they are doing the same with 700's.

One thing is for sure - they are not dual mass!

These car are quickly approaching their end of life so if you have large stock of clutches you better sell them whilst there are still cars around.

The LUK listing seems a bit odd with 4 years/40,000 mile warranty. Schaeffler give a lifetime warranty against materials and workmanship on LUK parts.

The add says they are LUK, but they are actually sourced by LUK from SACHS (I think they are both owned by the same group).

        Cheers!

They do buy from each other on occasions, typically where their brand is the OES to the vehicle assemblers. Sachs is a brand of ZF, which incorporates Boge and Lemforder brands too.

Although Sachs were the OES for the previous generation fortwos, both are well respected German brands and I'd happy to have either on my car.

              Ha ha! Not surprising.

It has been known for a Valeo unit to be in the box on some French applications.

That one is also manufactured by Sachs.

Look carefully, and you'll see "SACHS" in the casting.
