  • Camshaft differences between fortwo 600/700cc and roadster 700cc

Greetings All, just wondering if the cam shafts fitted to the 450 / 600 / 700cc and Roadster engines are the same or not.
I ask, because there's a couple of cams on evilbay and the descriptions on both auctions appear to show that the same camshaft can be fitted to any of the engines? Had a look at fq101 (yep, it's back up) but can't access the part number section - maybe that part is still at the pub, downing a few pints??? Cheers, Ian.

The Q part number doesnt exist any more. All smart part numbers begin with A then the model e.g. a part number for a 450 would be A450... And a part number for a forfour would be A454...

160 is the first part of the engine number, also known as the engine type.

M160 is a code for gasoline engines.
OM660 is a code for diesel engine.
Engine type is 160.xxx (gas) /660.xxx(diesel) .Star can read the type of engine.
