So I recently fitted a new wastegate actuator which has led to the car running well but I still have the eml on and the error codes are indicating that I may have a faulty knock sensor and a performance issue with the wastegate solenoid, before I replace them does anyone know if these can doe up when the earth strap is ready for replacement? I heard that can show up false codes and it is looking a bit coroded.

It is good clean place with sandpaper and apply a layer assembly grease.
Replace the cable minus. (on battery) . AWG 5 or 6 multicore cable ,brown .
Erase errors.
What use interface? (AutoCom, MB Star, etc.)
Knock sensor - check wiring, check the plug.
Before disconnecting the battery note the code on the stereo (if you have code).
