Got a smart 1998 fortwo from a friend a while back that didn`t charge, Alternator was tested and was dead so it got replaced but the car still wouldt charge, Then i noticed that the wire going from d+ was cut off and just hanging there and i have no clue where its supposed to go. Could anyone maybe help with some pictures or instructions where its supposed to go?

What kind of Smart? 0.6 petrol or 0.8 diesel.
If it's 0.6 of which alternator ? Alternator with on a screw, two or three (for electrical conection) ?
Please pictures of the alternator. -
