Hi
I have a 2006 for two Brabus 0.7, I hear quite a loud clunk from the engine bay about 30 secs after starting the engine from cold. It only does this once from cold and drives perfectly fine afterwards.
A little hard to diagnose where the noise is coming from being as you only get one chance each cold start but first indications are towards the gearbox end.
The sound is much louder than a relay and happens about 10secs after the RPM drops to tick over from the initial cold start.
If this turns out to be a gearbox fault, is the Brabus gearbox the same as other 0.7 smarts?
I suspect there is some wear in the driveshafts but don't think this is related to the noise as this happens even before you put the car in gear.
