Putting the "LONG" in Distance CDi

Just out of interest what figures did you get on that trip? I find the hills on the A38 between Exeter and Plymouth knock my MPG for six.

I travel daily from the M1 around the M25 towards Dartford, which is also quite hilly, the last couple of tankfuls, including Tuesday this week and filling up again tonight have all been between 86/88 mpg.
Was hoping that as the miles racked up, the mpg would go up too, but there are just too many delays and people who force you to brake because they have zero anticipation skills
