Can anyone help? When the eco switch on my 2008 451 MHD is active I get popping and creaking noises from the driver's door speaker. Changing the radio doesn't help. When the radio removeable panel is disconnnected (Pioneer Satnav) the noise disappears.

Gotta be an earthing issue on the head unit I'd guess , or the antenna cable/connection compromised.
Are you sure it's not both speakers (maybe you just hear the drivers side one because you're closer to it ? -
Thank you for your response. I have swapped head units from a standard radio to the Pioneer. Noise was present on both units. Definitely the drivers side. Initially I thought it was coming from the petrol tank and traced it to the drivers door speaker only.Comment
