As title, we have so far:
changed right rear ABS sensor for genuine smart version
changed right rear reluctor ring supplied by smart mods
lights come on intermitently and after driving it for the first time in a while (dads car) i can hear a high pitched whining noise and beeping when applying the brake seems to be coming for the SAM or a relay possibly?
lights can stay off for weeks at a time and then for no apparent reason come back on.
had it on a diagnostics (not mercedes) came back with ABS sensor error which has been changed. we have friends at ashford mercedes and they said if it was not the reluctor ring then it may be a new ABS ECU/pump?? with front sensors included?? need to research this more.
Just had MOT which needed new front tyres.
I think we have a brand new brake switch somewhere so may try fitting that but it may be for a 450.
