  • Retrofiiting "SoftTouch" to a 1.0 2007 Pure

I purchased a non functioning Smart ForTwo on a whim, I've now got it up and running but to my horror you have to change gears manually

Are there any garages/members in Dorset who are able to enable the "SoftTouch" function?

I'm happy to fit the hardware

There is a how-to https://www.evilution.co.uk/index.php?menu=electrical&mod=124 if you have a subscription, well worth it BTW.
But the 451 has to go to Smart for Coding apparently.

I've had a reply from Smart Poole and they only want £86 which seems very reasonable

Just an update on this......I now have soft touch gears for the cost of £92 🙂

£2 push to make switch on eBay, some thin wires and £90 coding at a local mercedes specialist
