Loss of power & won't change gear in automatic mode. Please help!

Our Smart Roadster has just lost all power on the motorway, no warning lights, it just decided to go slow. Now it will only accelerate very slowly but will not change gear automatically. In manual mode the paddles change fine, but there is still no power.
Can anyone point me in the right direction please? Is this safe mode?

Hi Sct73,
Sounds like it's gone into safe mode. Try a battery disconnect to reset it. Make sure you've got the radio code before disconnecting the battery!
Another thing it could be is the circlip has come off the wastegate actuator arm, allowing the arm to fall off therefore no boost pressure.
