    Hello there.
I have a 2004 roadster and love it!
Serviced and spoilt and with no warning lights she seems to stall just for a fraction of a second. Not when changing gear. It can happen in any gear and when accelerating. Not massive accelerating but there is a noticeable jerk from the whole car. I have no idea and neither does the garage?

Hello & welcome to the forum.

My first port of call would be to get the ECU read for any error codes, preferably using MBStar as generic readers don't always show all the codes.
This fault could be lots of things, ignition or fuel related.
Do you have any warning lights come up when it happens? If so it could be the reluctor rings on the drive shafts badly corroded, quite a common thing. https://www.evilution.co.uk/index.php?menu=info&mod=328

Good luck & let us know what you find.

First call on any problem like this is to do a power reset on the cars electronics:
Disconnect the battery for a few minutes, then reconnect as cleanly as possible.

You'll be better off registering and asking this question at the Smart Roadster-owners network as that's where most of the roadster knowledge resides:
