Phil Egan's "Minty Roadster" was originally called "Shine Roadster" & was yellow.
He wrote a regular article about mods & updates to his car in "Smartimes" magazine from Autumn 2003 to Autumn 2008.
Ahh...the good ol'days.

Nah - I'm pretty sure they were in Japan before that (I found his build thread on his car while looking for funky alloys and it wasnt that long ago)

they've been around before that, though I think that cube was quite famous! (sporting an in-car pic in 08/09 if memory serves correct) where I first saw the car and ever since it's popped up quite a lot since.
