Cost of living has a big deal with it but to be fair Lucy now has a job with England Ice Hockey who are based in Sheffield so the new place is only 20 mins away from her new office

I'm good thanks! It has been a long time. How are you and Lucy?

we have been good mate
the last 15 months been tough though
took an injury to my eye leading to detached retinas, double vitrectomy’s and cataracts. And still have another 8 month wait for the next operation, so been signed off sick since August 23.
And to top that off we are moving to Sheffield in the next month and a bit

so yea, tough but alive

It has been YEARS since I posted anything on here! Thought I would reintroduce myself and see who is still about.

I've had multiple smarts over the years, first one was in 2004. I've had 4 roadsters, 450 mk4, 3 451s, and my husband has had a 453 forfour and fortwo in the past. Currently have an 04 roadster, black with silver tridion.

I've been to many events over the years, and arranged many in Scotland and the lake district. Met so many people over the years, some who are lifelong friends.

Hurrah! Good to see you back Steve. I've also seen your other post in 'Anyone listening'. OMA and I are hoping to get things going here again. I get the feeling people are now so fed up with Facebook and from acorns, big oaks grow!

Facebook was an absolute disaster for forums such as this! Both Smartz the SmartClub UK have closed. This one is the last one standing.

I have fond memories of the smartstock weekend in the Lake District and the laughs we had. I miss those days very much and hope we can all come back together again.
