451 Tweeter upgrade any good?

hertz is orange! (sounds a fair bit better too IMO)

My tweeters are hertz, but also I chose edge for the speakers for their price too.
The double 13 edge sub I'm getting looks wicked aswell.
The edge speakers I have in the doors now are good enough for me, far better than the factories but also I'm not going to see any further benefit until I amp them as I'm using the highline touchscreen hu (for all its niggles I love it)

is there any particular reason for choosing edge? you'd be far better off with a Hertz He2

Chosen edge due to the orange colour scheme

I've decided my next step is to add an edge 4 way amp (ed7800) in line with the highline head unit connections to give the 2 speakers and 2 tweets some umph.

O ok cool I think I'll have a go next weekend after pay day get some upgrades in the doors and maybe amp them as the rear speakers installed yesterday

I think that's what I'll be using to be honest been and got my tweeters and newly fitted rears from caraudiosecurity in Hayes very reasonable on price

The speaker plastic grille had to be shaved back as per evolutions guide but that was not too tricky, other than that those speakers fit nice, I used the supplied screws to tap into the grille plastic for the original mountings.

How long did it take you roughly start to finish removing panels and wiring them up?

Well 3 hours the passenger side then 2 driver side.
I was careful and methodical, tried not to rush, it could be done quicker but when you rush mistakes get made.

Did you install doors speakers by removing skins? What speakers have you used and is there enough clearance for windows?

Yes I removed the door skins, its a 451, I used evolutions website guide and wasn't too hard at all.
Those are edge ed 206's they are 5.7in deep and fit fine, window clearance is fine too.

Well yes aventually, the next step is to get some 4 way door speakers fitted, then I might put some more tweeters in the back and then I want a double 12 sub (quick removable so I can still go shopping ha)
