Re: New clothes anyone?
Just to clear up, on your V5 the colour will either be black or silver (or grey for some forfours) If you swap the panels you dont have to tell the DVLA. If you have your tridion resprayed, only then should you tell the DVLA.
ANd if you and trashie do a swap, you'd be welcome to come down and stay with us to break up the journey!!

Re: New clothes anyone?
you have competition Annie...
I have a black trid and want black panels. Then I'll be fitting some deep Borbet A alloys or refurbishing the titans...haven't decided.

I want to keep the trid silver - just fancy a change from silver panels for a while - and I like black. I think black n silver would look pretty nice....

Re: New clothes anyone?
Mine's registered as 'white / black' trid = black & panels = white...Originally posted by ajprice View PostI thought smarts were registered as the Tridion colour (so either silver or black, or maybe grey

Course if you change the colour of your car through panels or a full respray you are obliged to tell DVLA of the new colour so once you change the information the car was first registered with, it can be anything that the current owner choses to describe the colour as.

Re: New clothes anyone?
Yup, send it back in and mark on it that the colour has changed... and they send you back a nice shiny new one. Had to do that for my last car. DVLA had it registered as brown when it was and quite obviously always had been metallic black.Originally posted by Rose Chap View PostIf you change the colour of your don't you have to make a change to your V5?

Re: New clothes anyone?
Are you going to colour code the silver stripe as well?
If you change the colour of your don't you have to make a change to your V5?
