  • Spikeline alloys Weight

    Does anyone know their weight?
without the tyres, interested. Maybe someone have them without tyres fitted, or done that already?

One guy is using his roady as a track car, and trying to get all the bits as light as possible (already stripped the interior)

    Thanks in advance

    they'll be 15-16kg

the lightest wheels are steels and spinlines (both 15 inch) at 12-14kg depending on front or back.

If he wants to swap a set of spinlines for track use, I will pay some cash towards his 16s!

It's a lot colder now there,
a bit of offtop, there is couple of smart owners from Irkutsk, -45 and they're starting their cars there.

Petropavlovsk Kamchatsky is a really scenery place, only one bad thing is the poverty.

the wheels may be heavier but how about the weight of the tyres?
they are low profile and may bring the combined weight below that of the smaller wheels

surprised not to see any pics of the broken submarines - it was october when I was there, spent a happy few hours in Petrapavlosk, despite taking six days to get there from Dutch Harbor. The coastal scenery is fantastic.
