Re: best advert in tv for a long while...
Wow, what a crock of ****. Another advert that takes ages to get to the reveal and has nothing to do with the product.
Never seen anyone drinking a mug of tea on the beach unless they had just been saved and need sugary warm fluids.

Re: best advert in tv for a long while...
I've seen better adverts made on the Apprentice.
Let's see - fortune spent on an animation that does nothing, says nothing, tells nothing.
A second at the end with the actual product.
This is a proper advert!
and this is too

Re: best advert in tv for a long while...
I agree with both sides. Yes it take too long to get to the point. However P.Child is right, it's nice to see an advert that uses talent with animation and a song that sounds good with it.
I liked it

I'm just a fan of jap style animation I guess - I agree it has nothing to do with the product but visually it's lovely!
Reminds me I need to buy more studio ghibli films
Oh - and I hate US commercials - drive me mad! It's not their annoying voices or the simplicity they have to include for dim Americans but it's the frequency and duration of them! I often forgot what I was actually watching during an ad break

I'm with you JJ, I really like those adverts. Ok, it doesn't show the product straight away, but you can relate to the message it is saying. If you can't, well, Tescos have a lovely range of value teas....lol :p
This is a better advert for their product though
PS, loving the American advert, made me giggle!
