I was in tesco's the other week and noticed that chewing gum is under high security these days. I thought only DVD's, alcohol etc... were put in the plastic boxes.
Strange but true! I work (security ) in a well known competitor supermarket and one of my colleagues "spooked" a thief trying to steal a trolley load. Over £1000 worth!!! We also have upgraded better secure covers for our products as there is obviously a black market for the stuff. Buyer beware, don't be tempted if you are offered a "bargain"!!!
Will need to check if Tesco's in Great Yarmouth do the same tomorrow although I doubt it as I got a 42" Sony Bravia tv three years ago from there and they were on a stand about 2 metres from door with no security tag inside
It's cos with them you can blow even bigger bubbles ! Oh sorry . Condoms. Not bubble gum. Oh well same difference. Always wondered why they came in strawberry flavours ...
I have loads of chewing gum in my office at work, either chewing gum is still cheap or the kids are richer than they make out. Havent bought any for years.
