Not sure what you mean by that? It looks like you're saying "never repeats a digit pair" - eg 14 couldn't repeat anywhere after the start - but that's obviously wrong, there are only 100 digit pairs available and pi is more than 200 digits long. What did you mean?
Pi is interesting for a number of reasons, but most of what's being discussed here is a consequence of it being "transcendental" - that is, there's no polynomial* equation with whole-number coefficients to which it's a solution. The only other transcendental number most people ever notice is e.
*polynomial equation: take powers of x, multiply by numbers, add up, set equal to zero.
