  • Something different

So today i went and looked at something different, (note, not selling my smart)

It was this, a 1982 Porsche 944 coupe 2.5, however this one had been converted into a pick-up! It's previous owner was the 12th Earl of Denbigh and used on his estate. I am considering buying it as a conversation piece and for occasional use.

Common place somewhere abroad (Malta?) as it reduces road tax. I've seen 928s converted.
Not as rare then as you might hope.

And seemingly (according to Porsche sites) cheaper to covert to a pickup than source a new rear screen

In the end I decided not to buy the Porsche and have purchased a 1997 Vectra estate, who is now called Percy

              Re: Something different

Because the 1997 Vectra is comparable with the 1982 924 (Had a 2000 Vectra, it self combusted, was rubbish)
