An app is not the way to go for me.
First off all because my Nokia 6300 isnt particularly 'clever'. Second because if I indeed had a smart phone I'd have had to remember to put it in its holder and start the app over and over again during the day as I am in the delivery biz, sort of. That sort of 'multitasking' is definitively not for me.
Thats why I want the 'fit and forget' sort of thingymabob. I am sure several insurance companies would have loved the documentary I could have provided only weeks ago when I was the first driver to avoid ending up in a six car pile-up. This was a combination of cars not managing to stop in time and cars that did manage to stop, only to be shoved into the pile by the car behind...
You can be PDS if I had a clever phone, an app and a windscreen mount the phone would be sound asleep in my pocket when things starts to go south
