Smart 451 Brabus engine remaps and things

This may sound stupid but in the 451

Is the 84hp turbo passion engine the same as the 451 Brabus engine? With diff remaps?

Reason I ask is I was thinkin bout remapping my 84 to Brabus spec ish

An I wanted to know if its gonna put major stress on the engine parts over time but remapping or if the engines are similar with diff maps (I no there's other differences its not gonna be that simple surely??)

Any help would be greatly appreciated

according to evilution, the non BRABUS is running the standard BRABUS map anyway....

I did find that on evilution except that's for the one with the longer exhaust and mine is pre euro 5 exhaust so I think I have a different remap on mine to the 2011 smart I have a 2008 84hp, I wanna know more about if it statins the engine ie: driveshafts and things

Question is will they wear out sooner if its remapped as apposed to standard

obviously there is additional strain but drive shafts, clutch etc are the same (from what i recall)

there is a long history of remaps on smarts

speak to tony, he is a really nice guy and knows his stuff inside out and will put your car on the dyno first so you know where you are starting from.

i'm getting my forfour BRABUS done in january up to +200bhp and i know that he has developed this map himself on one of our member cars

plus its a great place to visit
