451 turbo change to brabus forfour??

I am very tempted to chop in my 451 turbo for an all black brabus forfour

Any suggestions good or bad idea don't mind bout fuel consumption just worried about other problems?

Problems lol? I'll tell you this, The Brabus forfour is the most reliable of all of smarts vehicles. One it's based on an actual car, two- it doesnt suffer from transmission failures or the deadly three lines that other smart cars suffer from time to time. Three- It doesn't leak, battery and engine easy to access, space saver tyre in the boot.
Four- The engine is a Mitsubishi Turbo so it's extremely reliable, won't expire every 60k+ miles like the 450.
Five- The prices of the Brabus forfour are like dirt cheap now, around 6k will fetch you a decent one I'd you look around.

Cons- Tyres are expensive to replace, £150 per rear tyre is an average price.
Petrol can seem to be more expensive, it performs best on higher fuel 97+ but I find that lasts longer than having 95 reg fuel in the tank.
Servicing costs by merc are unacceptable lol.
Harsh ride due to low profile and sports suspension.
They aren't considered smart cars in the smart car community

Pros- it's luxury, leather interior, heated front seats among other fancy extras you may get.
The speed, it's fast and a joy to drive. Steerings responsive and performance of the vehicle is one of the highest in the hot hatch category.
They are really rare vehicles.
Reliable.

get a forfour and you wont look back! i did when my city coupe was written off and havent looked back. the fortwo was a fun little car but i dont think ill be buying another one, but if anything happened to my forfour id go and buy an new one without thinking

Make sure you can live with the ride, it's atrocious. Oh and factor in alloy wheel replacement into your budget too, they're softer than soft.

I think it's a no brainier I'm not too precious bout the tyres prices cos my mileage is low, less than 6000 a year, so I think I may have to do bit research into insurance then possible go and swap them over, I'd like a car that feels bit better at high speed as the 451 is a bit wobbly and the other thing is a went from a vw beetle turbo to the smart and the 0-60 is a big diff! Which I really miss

Do it

The speed of the car is way beyond anything else smart makes
The speed of a civic typeR but with the huge rarity value

Ride is hard but my lowered 450 was just as bad
Wheels can be dented on big pot holes
Tyres - well the falkens are £100 each (I got a set of 4 part worns for £120)
Reliability is superb
Build quality is good

People look at the car all the time and come up to me and ask me what it is.

For the money, this is an awesome car
