Having read lots of jokes about it and seen various comments, can someone please explain to me this rivalry, why it exists and if it is genuine ?

It wasn't on this forum but another, and it was just comments I'd ready about fighting off, competition etc... I wondered if they were both involved in racing or something? Like I said, I don't know enough about it to quote in context, but I wondered if both had racing teams or something?

I agree, I don't think there is any rivalry either. Banter on occasion, some people have a preference as to which site to use. Either way, both are a fantastic aide to the smart community. I have yet to see another car club with a dedicated site as half as good as either for tech/repair stuff.

Rage is more upmarket whilst fury is cheaper mainly for DIY.
