Re: Gordon Murray's city car may yet make the streets

2 close ones on my bike....

    1. Guy who didn't notice me entering roundabout and pulled out in front of me..... Which I anticipated so widened my turn to go behind him. What I didn't anticipate was him coming to a total standstill across the roundabout and staring at me shouting sorry.

    2. Lady who when approaching clear roundabout slammed on for no reason just as I was looking right to check roundabout was still clear. Nearly dropped it because of front wheel locking up. Twisted my knee keeping the bike upright. Still had time to reflect, lull round her, have a go and enter roundabout before anyone was on the roundabout.

But yes - losing that front wheel on a greasy bend (spilt diesel in Bristol)

    Enjoy the build

It's all too easy to get hurt by the actions of others while riding a bike, that's for sure. The most probable cause of a locked front wheel? Yep, an errant motorist.

Still designing functioning suspension. Knee deep in roll centres - and that's partly because I'm on my knees with it all! Still, invigorating to take on such a challenge. I'll know when it's finished if I got it right.
