Mitsubishi Mirage engine options?

The Mitsubishi Mirage is offered with either a 1.0 or 1.3 liter 3 cylinder engine, can anyone tell me if the 1.0 is the same as the Smart engine and how/if the 1.3 relates to it? Perhaps it offers some serious modding potential to an adventurous 451 owner???

isn't it more aligned to the forfour??

the mirage is also the colt and they run the Orion 4G1 engines which are in the forfour.

I know very little about the Mitsubishi line up. So the 1.0 & 1.3 do not share the same block?

I don't think the 1.0 ltr turbo is a standard lump and defo not the same as it's ages old
