    Spy shots fortwo

    More spy pics of testing:

    http://indianautosblog.com/2014/05/2...o-spied-131744

There's an interesting frontal shot as it seems some cammo has been removed to deal with the heat in Dubai It reveals some round mesh grill.

    Cheers!

Ps. I tried to add this to the existing thread but just get a banner saying: Edit conversation 'Empty Response' and an exclamation sign in a triangle. I cannot start a thread in the general smart section either.

it has a simular ugly bulbous front as the toyota iq , going away from original style of the smart & looking same as most cars on the road

That is a similar shape but it doesn't look like that. There is no way they'd have the tridion as the rear wheel arch.

The more I see the less I like, I hope those alloys are not for real and four lug nuts is not 'reduced to the max'.

            Cheers!

This shot's doing the rounds, but the way the rear arch merges into the sill is not convincing.
              Cheers!

I am reasonably certain that the badge in that photo is the wrong way around.

Curious about the gaps in the front below the DRLs - the fog lights should be there, no?

If this really is a "in-the-flesh" picture (of which I am not sure of), I would like to think it was a little encouraging. I am not convinced about the shape of of the Tridion, it seems to be to close to the back wheels and to the road itself and it appears there is no "bonnet" as the 451 had (which means changing bulbs could be headache again) but the overall shape of the Tridion looks inoffensive enough. When not having that damn cameo wrap on, the car is not as bad as I thought it was going to.

Having said that, the C453 just looks too angular and that front grille is too big. I want to see it in the flesh but where is the ingenuity here?

Also, going to ask it, where the hell are the instrumentation pods?!

Surprised to read (in Autocar) that the official launch isn't until near the end of this year and cars aren't available until next. Therefore I'll be even more surprised if that pic is of the genuine article. Even when Autocar drove one a week or so back it was still cammoed to the Nth degree. Too early for such detail.
