Has anyone bought one of these ? I'm thinking of buying an electric bike for my daily commute - and the smart certainly looks the best. However it is a few years old and - shock - expensive. SO I'd be interested in any owner's comments.

So if I got one of these and parked further out and cycled in, it *might* make sense with a bit of man-maths.
I read on some e-bike forum that the speed restriction is very easily removed on the bike allowing it to double its speed (to 30mph) of course thats only for off road use etc etc, but it certainly makes it more attractive!
In retrospect, I suppose "supercalafragalisticexpialadocious" wasn't a great "safe word..." -
I never even thought about buying one until recently when I saw the finance option.
£150 deposit then 33 months at £50.
I don't cycle, I have no need for it but now I'm thinking about it.Comment

I really love the awesome electric downhill full suspension beasts - they are superb and legal to go off roading
