Hi everyone,
Those of you who know me, know I'm fundraising for the local Cats Protection Branch.
I am embarking on a challenge in October 2016, and an adventure.
No doubt it will be the last big thing i do for a few years as I'm sure kids will be on the agenda by the time it comes around.
The challenge that I'm going to be doing is Canoeing the Zambezi river for 3 days, camping by the river side at night.
Then assisting in a Big Cat Conservation program(A.L.E.R.T) , for three days, as well as spending an additional day at a local school, educating the children to the importance of the conservation of big cats in the wild.
I am going to be taking my DSLR with me (lots of amazing photo ops), as well as my GoPro camera to capture amazing footage of the trip.
In addition to this ill be taking the aerial surveillance device - drone - to follow us from above along the river, and if possible from the sky covering the terrain from above when we are working on the program.
I have a large target to hit, and would welcome any donations from anyone here in the community.
The target to raise is £3,900 and it will be broken down as follows;
50% will go to Farnham & Wey Valley Cats Protection
30% will go to the ALERT Big Cat Conservation Project in Zambia
20% will be put towards to cost of the Challenge.
Any monies over the £3,900 will go to Farnham & Wey Valley Cats Protection Branch.
If you are interested, the fundraising page is www.fwcp.co.uk/canoe
And, to keep track of it all, www.davesbigcatcanoe.com
If you don't want to read anything, then you can donate anything from £1-£10 by using your phone and texting 'CPZC55 £5' to 70070
Thank you again
