Has anyone else found that aircon causes colds and bronchitis? I'm sure that mine is making me ill.

Oh right - now I understand why the Vauxhall dealer that I used to get my old Zafira serviced at used to try to convince me to part with £30 to have my Aircon system "antibacterial" treated every service....
More likely your ailments are brought on by lower body temperatures and less of moisture in the air - caused by using the air-con.
So you're possibly more prone to picking up bugs when exposed to them shortly after being in an air conditioned environment.
Just consider yourself lucky you have a smart with working A/C! I have 2 smarts currently and both have defective A/C systems....Comment

How many hours a day do you spend in your car?
How much do you have your aircon on?
Get the roof off and get some fresh air.
More likely your work or home environment is more of an effect than the car.
Mind you you do live in a congested area, more than likely just sitting in pollution doesn't help.Comment

Can recommend either Comma Air Con Cleaner or Autoglym Air Con Sanitiser.
Have used them both and they do work well. Follow the instructions and you'll have a clean, fresh smelling A/C system in no time.Comment
