Hi, can anyone recommend a tried and tested cabrio roof cleaner please ?

Smart do one.
I use the Autoglym set.
Others use Renovo.

They all seem to work well.

Autoglym 3 for 2 at halfords normaly.

Given these kits are probably the most expensive of the autoglym range, it's almost worth buying 3 and selling the other 2 to other owners to make it a bargain all round

1 kit should do your roof twice. 3 kits would keep you going for 6 years

I have done my roof about 8 times & still have more than 2/3 of the bottles left

Admittedly the roadster roof is somewhat smaller than the ForTwo but I think you will find one set will do a LOT more than 2 applications!

The renovo is good but it's more for renovating your roof rather than a simple clean and protect.

I use Ever Build Moss-Away. Works a treat and is cheap.

With a black cloth roof, what is best for getting rid of seagull droppings, without leaving a stain?

(live near the coast, and seagulls travel in, and are a nuisance).

If you have some protectant spray on the top, that's a good start. The main thing with bird **** is get it off ASAP with lots of water, and use a brush to make sure all traces are gone.

lol! I bet its one of those that wont let you put the name of a town if it features a word it doesnt like, like S****horpe....


Confirmed... its one of those stupid ones that cant figure out that words exist within other words.

As for the seagulls.... set up a 24hr a day air defense system with SBMs! (surface to bird missles)
