    Oh defo can't trust anyone else on the roads now days ! And yeah I think I will give the winter tyres on some steels ago. See how that pans out that's depending how hard the winter is ;-/

      Similar to the roads I use but in NE Scotland and I wouldn't be without winter tyres now I know what they are capable of - they show just how rubbish summer rubber is on snow!
      You can always consider running winter tyres all year round - the only demerits are they are less stable in crosswinds and you may have to clean the treads prior to winter to rid them of a film accumulated summer rubbish.
      If I could only have the one type of tyre for all year - I'd choose the winters.

        Cheers mate for your view too I do have a few things to think about hopefully ill be moving soon so my 19miles should turn into 6miles after moving not that it's still not dangerous even upswing it for 6miles but least it's not country lanes then but I'll see.
