    I'm sure - as are you - that some day someone will want to know how to narrow and shorten a smart axle and remount so that it is behind the drivetrain rather than in front.

    Or why don't you tell us who is likely to need this information and for what purpose? I bet my genitalia you can't.

      Let's hope people like Evilution and FQ101 never think like that

      It's not much effort to add 3 dimensions to a diagram if you have them. Especially when others have gone to effort and offered to jack up their own car to help you out.

      The pic is of an OEM axle and others who are thinking of engine transplants etc may like to know dimensions.

      Was only a thought as that's what forums are about (I thought)

        Dimension signified by yellow, estimated, by scaling from photo, is 23''. I cannot guarantee absolute accuracy. Ball park figure only.
