The Smart is yet to undergo this test.

The Fiat 500 does not look like such a good alternative though.

I'm not surprised, Fiat have never produced a particularly safe small car (check out the seicento vs 450!). I did have to chuckle at the 'small' car label. The Prius comes after 3 smaller models in the UK. It's no wonder they don't trust the smart.

Euro ncap tests are pretty good tests...

But to me all pretty pointless unless you test them at closing speeds of 100mph + but then no one would buy cars then
