Its been winter time since I owned my latest Passion Fortwo, and today it was the first really sunny day of driving (OK, its Scotland, so sunny days are very rare ).
Anyway the plastic roof is very clear as you know, but just when the car moved round with the sun, time: midday, the roof began to sparkle, like loads of little bright sparkles, I though the thing had shattered or something, gave me a real fright. Then with the car back at another angle to the sun, it returned to normal, ie, clear.
I really looked hard at the roof from inside and its totally clear, no cracks or anything.
Now can you put my mind at rest, and tell me you also get this phenomena?
Also what causes this sparkle at a certain angle to the sun?
