Today is...the first day that fortwos can be legally parked 90 degrees to the traffic flow arse in to the kerb. (No requirement to display tax disc at pavement as of today).

I believe the prerequisite for parking nose in is side reflectors. If you park nose in, the tax disc would be very viewable from the kerb. Legally you have to be inside the parking bay and the normal size is 2.4 meters wide so a smart would poke out by about 10cm so it wouldn't be legal.
