Chris mentioned in passing that they were the supplying hub for several surrounding dealers ... and I'm sure whitefield (and a couple others which I can't recall) was mentioned?
Spoken to Ari on the phone a couple of times last week (for the first time in years) and he didn't mention anything... I'll have to rib him next week
Looks like they're not even ticked for smart sales or service in the dealer locator on their main site??
That would have been slightly nearer for me.
Why can't the merc search system accept that smarts (ok, up til the 453 !) have a semi auto 'box.... you look in the search and see listed auto and manual 451's !!!!!
I can also see a 999 diesel at first glance !!

Well went to see Ari on Sunday 30th August. The dealership in Whitefield is very busy and Mercs are what they are about not smarts. Ari was in demand so had to wait a while. To make matters worse the smart used site was down so I could not show him the smart I was after. So after I had finished on the East Lancs railway on bank holiday Monday went over again. parking was very tight and waited and waited for Ari but was too busy he did see me but then went to another customer to close a deal. I decided it would be better to go to Smart Manchester and spoke to Barry. Pick up a 2013 smart Passion with 7k on the clock today. Whitefield do have a smart forfour on display but they are what's known as Light sales on smarts. They do have plans to take some more land and increase the site offering more to customers.Comment
