I thought it would be a good idea to mention about the new smart cars that have been released in recent years.
The smart #1, #3 and #5 have been released and I think this post is the first mention of these on this forum. I have today read about the #6 and I attach the article for this. The new smarts have generally been SUVs or compact SUVs but this one is more compact.
They are still looking for new partners to help develop the new fortwo (#2) and forfour (#4) but, as the article says, it's difficult to make small cars profitable - which is presumably why smart has lost €500 billion over the last twenty years.
