Had the ESP light on a few times driving home, can't take corners like I used to do in the Lotus but still great fun.

Had a leak on the drivers side but I may have fixed it. The roof bar hadn't been put back correctly. Still got it original tyre sealer. I know it will be out of date but I've got 2 tyre welds from the lotus.

First mod ordered, a new horn as the orig is poo to say the least. Stebel Nautilus as in my last Roadie.
Also adapted my Lotus shower cap to fit.

Would these be corners you knew quite well?

The reason I ask is that whilst we all know that a roadie's handling is outperformed by a Lotus, but it seems a
good opportunity fo an objective viewpoint as to how far off the pace is the roadie?

Yes a regularish drive over the CatnFiddle area. The grip of a Lotus (in the dry) is so good, I never had the nerve to push it to the limit.

With the lotus, it's a high performance car and you need to have a little understanding/experience of how to drive one to fully appreciate it whereas the roadie and fortwo (to a similar degree) can be driven with a digital accelerator and not bite you

I never had any issues in the vx220 and the oversteer was not only fun but predictable and controlable

Enjoy the roadie - its an equally good lookin car

Never had a problem with oversteer, was always understeer for me. lol
