Hi there I am new to forum, but not a newbie to Smarts
I have owned 2 previous Smarts, the 1st one lasted about 8 months, until I dropped it off of the side of the road, (about a 20ft drop into an orange grove in Spain
That was a silver v reg passion.... but such is the safety of a smart, I only had a scratch on my foot! But the garage said the chasis was twisted, so it was a write off
. I then got my 2nd Smart a W reg cabrio, she was a beauty, but has just had to go to the big car park in the sky. In the end she had 146000km on the clock, with the original engine. She only had 2 mechanical problems, one was front wheel bearings, and the other was the radiator hose got a hole in it. I am so sad to see my Lil go, but on Saturday I am off to buy a new smart (well to me anyway) extremely low mileage. It is a 56 plate pure, so lets hope she brings me many more happy Smarty days.
