picked up my Smart Cabrio Passion today, 2002 model, 60k, seems neat. Welcome addition to the family.

where do I post a general roof preventative maintenance question? wondered if there's a product available that prolongs the life and treats the folding roof fabric? I used to use Armourall (sp?) on my 2CV roof many many many years ago, but never had a fabric roof on a car, and my SLK is a tin top.

The roof doesn't technically need treating at all as its a can as/rubber sandwich construction and is completely impervious to water.

But if you do want to treat it the autoglym stuff works well or smart do their own cleaner & treatment kit.

Autoglym is normally 3 for 2 at halfords too
