Hi there tobtib. Forum is kind of quiet at the moment.
Mine is an old 2002 Smart Cabrio Cdi. 200,000 mainly trouble free kilometers. Runs like a bomb and is extremely economical. No remap and no remap required. Plenty of power and torque for my kind of motoring.

I know that the CDI engine are strong (strong as the petrol ones).

I know that on CDI you can do the update with a 451 map. But even without, it's a good engine.
