Hi Smarties, just joined and still looking to buy my 1st Smart fortwo, im confused about how most state in their sales pitch that smarts are cheap to insure, the cheapest quote ive recieved for paying monthly is £444 which i dont find cheap at all, im 53, drive for a living (PCV) and have 10 years ncd.
I currently own a bmw mini cooper S and pay less than that.

Try esure to cut that number in half. (Possibly monthly payment is thwarting you though).
