    Re: Retro/classic modded smart cars

Kinda agree, I still love driving lil.smartie even when I have the choice of loads of Smarties, Roadies, Forfours, the cube, the L200 & the bug eyed Multipla! She can't be included though as she's still std after 9 1/2 years!

Maybe we could have a build date comp....

I know of a 31.10.98 (Factory Dispatch)..... I sold it just before Xmas....

And I've heard that the earliest Build, Full Production was 30.10.98????

            This might qualify:

1998 registered with Papaya Leather, Brabus arches and Roadster light steelies, Smann grille and Lester front spoiler. I love the colour coded lights and it's my daily driver.

It also has a tuned Roadie lump so that the wheels didn't feel left out

I understood that mine was one of the first. It was registered in Gemany 22-09-98

I love early smarties. I'd quite fancy an early car........leave it as standard on maybe just subtly modify.

Sadly, at the moment I'm unable to post a pic, but I have to agree with this thread, "old skool" is definitely the future, similar to the DUB scene.
